The Port Melbourne apartment at the centre of Wayne Carey's run-in with police in January has sold for $2million. The 10th floor Rouse Street apartment, with views of Beaconsfield Parade and Port Phillip, sold for the former footballer's asking price. Carey (pictured) paid $1.4million for it in May 2006.
It's believed Carey will set up house in Queensland with girlfriend Kate Neilson, who has family there.His former wife and daughter are believed to be in Maribyrnong.
